McTown: Clicking this map will send you to the McMurdo site, which has an interactive map with photos of most of the buildings. There is also a webcam that shows the current weather at McMurdo (except when the weather is too severe, when it doesn't work...), and a variety of other stuff about McMurdo.

Ross Ice Shelf with McMurdo Sound, Ross Island, and vicinity of McMurdo Station.

Iceberg B15 after having broken off from the Ross Ice Shelf. B15 is roughly the size of MA and CN combined. B15 has been wedged against iceburg C17 (on the left), and has partially blocked the entrance to McMurdo Sound, causing havoc with the penguin rookeries and preventing the ice from leaving McMurdo Station for the last 5 years. Just recently (10/6/03) B15 split. There is quite a bit of speculation (and concern) what will happen with it next.
