Today was spent relaxing, packing, and cleaning; all those wonderful chores you do when you move. We all awoke to almost a foot of new snow on the ground! We strolled over to a friend's dorm for coffee, then to the galley for the Sunday ritual of waffles with strawberries and cream. The original plan was to go back to Little Razorback for a final dive, but the weather was too nasty to leave the station so we all dispersed and napped, worked on end of season reports, or packed. We are in the final stages of packing and I think we are all becoming a bit nostalgic about leaving. We will all miss the beauty of this place and the wonderful people we have become close to over the past two months. However, we will never forget the feeling of awe this place inspires or the renewing of oneself that we have experienced.

It snowed the entire day, and you could often hear woops and hollers from snow ball fights outside the dorms. In fact, you had to come out of buildings armed because you never knew who would be waiting with ammunition to bombard you. We ended the day watching a historic movie on Scott's expedition to the Pole.
